Restaurant Overview:
This classy, beautifully presented bar and bistro has recently celebrated it’s fifth year in success, located in the popular tourist haven Clonakilty. Richy’s is spacious with impressive décor and design and is a pleasant location to relax and soak up the cosmopolitan atmosphere.
A combination of passion for cooking, service with a smile and an aim to create a relaxed and casual dining experience will entice you to come back again and again.

Menu:

Starters:

  • Seafood Chowder.
  • Warm salad of seared scallops, black pudding, apple and fresh herb compote.
  • Chicken Satay, served with a peanut and sweet chilli dipping sauce
  • Artichoke, butternut squash and courgette frittata, finished with garlic and parmesan.
  • Tiger prawn brochette, tamarind and fennel dip, tomato salad.
  • St Tolas goat’s cheese, red onion and leek crumble, with savory pinenut and herb crust, spiced pear chutney.
  • Tapa plate for sharing.

Main Courses:

  • Pan-roasted fillet of monkfish, caponata, buttery mash, tempura of asparagus, citrus emulsion.
  • Baked fillet of hake, basil pesto mash, tomato and anchovy dressing.
  • Pan-roasted breast of chicken, set on a risotto of leeks and butternut squash, crisp pancetta wrapped asparagus.
  • Richy’s mum’s vegetarian biryani, banana chutney, coconut chutney, tomato chatini and grilled flat bread.
  • Roast rack of lamb, with an apricot and mint salsa, parsnip and sweet potato gratin.

Deserts:

  • Walnut and orange chocolate brownie, Madagascan vanilla bean ice cream.
  • Warm sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and ice cream.
  • Summer berry terrine with Madagascan vanilla ice cream.
  • William pear tart-tatin, raspberry ripple ice cream.
